John Opella created Minium Decorative Arts and Design in 2007 and today is working with top design firms, retailers, and hospitality firms worldwide. From initial concept, to studio visits during production, to on-site realization, we work with our clients to bring their design dreams to life. Minium has a team of artists and artisans with wide ranging skills from water gilding, lacquer, and verre églomisé to large-scale murals and plaster relief. We specialize in creating custom finishes with a twist on these traditional techniques, making old world craftsmanship and historical reference resonate within today’s architectural sensibilities.
